The Jio Phone 2 has been a huge success in India and while the 4G feature phone was sold out within seconds during its first flash sale, the Jio Phone 2 next sale has been scheduled for August 30 i.e. tomorrow. The biggest highlights of the Jio Phone 2 includes a QWERTY keypad with a 4-way navigation key, dual 4G VoLTE, support for dual SIM where the secondary slot supports other networks and more.
Another reason why the Jio Phone 2 is expected to become a huge hit in India is the fact that both Jio Phone and Jio Phone 2 users will soon be able to use the WhatsApp app on their feature phones. Also, support for popular apps such as Google Maps, YouTube and Facebook have also been added to the Jio Phone and Jio Phone2
Coming to the Jio Phone 2 price in India, the 4G-enabled feature phone has been priced at Rs. 2,999 and will be available through Jio.com in only one colour option (Black). For the unknown, buyers will have to pay an additional Rs. 99 as delivery charges in order to get the new Jio Phone 2 while the Jio Phone 2 flash sale starts at 12pm on August 30.
While the Jio Phone 2 delivery can be expected within the next five to seven business days of booking it through a flash sale, customers are also required to have a Jio SIM card which they can also purchase from nearby Jio Store or Jio retailer. On the other hand, Reliance Jio is also offering Jio SIM home delivery in select regions

The Jio Phone 2 comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display offering 320 x 240 pixels resolution while the smartphone runs KaiOS operating system out of the box coupled with support for cat.4 LTE which can offer download speeds of up to 150Mbps on both LTE (Band 3,5,40) and 2G (900/1800). The Jio Phone 2 also comes with dual SIM and dual 4G VoLTE support along with connectivity options such as Bluetooth, FM radio, Wi-Fi, VoWi-Fi, GPS, and NFC
For optics, there a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter with support for video recording and video calling while there is also a virtual voice assistant integration for the Jio Phone. The whole package is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
